Our commercial Burglar Alarm Leeds security company has been around for about 5 decades, and while we’ve made lots of memories at our old home in Barwick in Elmet over the years, we’d definitely outgrown our premises there. Around a year ago, our MD Richard Samwell started searching for suitable alternatives that were still based close to home in Leeds.

We’re happy to announce that Richard’s search was eventually fruitful when a drive-out around the industrial sites near Garforth brought him to Burley House on the New Hold Estate. Previously owned by Herbert Brown Jewellers, the site’s ample car parking space and seemingly secure set-up resonated with our resident security expert, so he jotted down the number, and made some calls…
Perfectly fit-for-purpose premises
Because the premises had been fully equipped for a high-security purpose to protect a lot of very valuable stock; it turned out to be the perfect fit for our company’s requirements. The building had been sitting empty for about as long as Richard had been looking; so finding it was kind of serendipitous!
When we explored further; we found a 2.4m palisade perimeter fence and double gates as a good starting point for security and a Burglar Alarm Leeds. Although once we’d signed on the line and prepared to move in; we upgraded the Burglar Alarm and Gates to one of our own business sliding security gate systems with ANPR for improved business access control.
In addition to the extra space both internally and externally, we’ve also inherited with the property:
- Huge storage capacity, so we can increase our stock and manufacturing facilities for a more efficient service
- A 10” thick safe door into one of the storage areas
- A fully-fitted classroom – we’re afraid we won’t be doing our engineer training at Barwick Cricket Club anymore!
- Robust business security shutters
With lovely spacious offices and a reception area that we’re planning some great décor for, it’s a much better environment to work in and we’re settling in really well.
However, before we felt it could be deemed completely in line with our products; we also added internal door access control, a new sounder for our Burglar Alarm Leeds, a new engineer and delivery entrance plus ultra-high-def IP CCTV for businesses. After all, it’s our new flagship headquarters; so we have to use it as an example of our skills and knowledge!
