Open the Dahua software and type in your Username and Password. Click OK. On the Main Menu, under the title Search, click the Playback button.
On the left-hand side, click the camera(s) and select the Date you wish to view. Press Search.
This will show a full day’s worth of footage. Use the scroll on your mouse to zoom hours into minutes, allowing you to select a clearer start time that you wish to view and export.
Click the Scissors, this will suggest an hour’s worth of CCTV footage to download. Adjust this time by dragging the red dots to cover the footage you want to export.
To export the selected footage, click the scissors again. This will open up a pop-up menu, click Browse and select the area you wish to put the recording i.e. USB drive. Change the format to AVI and click OK. Click OK to the prompt.
An Export Progress will now show. Once complete, click the cross to close. You have now downloaded your selected footage. If you wish to download more, repeat the above steps or if finished, close the program altogether.
