Powerhouse has been a customer of TI Security for many years now, they contacted us discussing how they were moving to a new building and were unsure if the existing security in place was safe and compliant, requesting that they first wanted their Fire Alarm Servicing before having any additions. Powerhouse is a creative content studio, specialising in high-end stills and motion content for brands and retailers within food, fashion and lifestyle industries. They build and shoot creative that will get results to satisfy their customers’ objectives – whether those be to increase sales, boost engagement or heighten brand presence. The commercial photography and video business were established in 1999 and currently shoot for brands including Unilever, Kellogg’s, M&S and Bacardi.
Fire Alarm Rodley
When relocating, Powerhouse wanted to ensure that the previous owners existing systems were in working order and compliant to the new regulations. The Fire Alarm Rodley was very old and Powerhouse was unsure if it even worked, so we sent an engineer to test and service their business fire alarm systems advising on any improvements or legal requirements along the way. Upon inspection the existing equipment was obsolete but we knew we could upgrade the Fire Alarm whilst reusing some of the old system reducing the cost.
Intruder and Fire Alarm Rodley
As Powerhouse was changing the layout of the building, this meant the Fire Alarm Rodley needed upgrading and expanding to comply with their new Fire Risk Assessment covering all their new rooms and areas triggering when a Fire is detected, suggested additional detectors of different types and that they had their Fire Alarm servicing done twice per year.
Rodley, Leeds
Rodley is a suburb in Leeds, the village is situated just inside the Leeds Outer Ring Road, 5 miles north-west from Leeds City Centre and 4 miles North East from Bradford. The Leeds and Liverpool canal passes through, running parallel with Rodley Town Street. Known for many stone-built industrial buildings and mills that once lined the banks of the canal now seen where the modern apartments and houses are. Rodley is roughly equidistant from Leeds and Bradford.
