They came to us via the use of one of our Automatic Gates at another site. We had installed an Automatic Gate across the road from their building for the previous tenants, and later the Automotive Component Manufacturer bought that building and after using the gate we had installed, they soon realised that their Automatic Gate on their building wasn’t up to the standard of our gate. They got in contact asking if we could install a business sliding security Gate similar to the one opposite.
Based in Germany but now worldwide, the family-owned automotive component manufacturer was established in 1912. For over 100 years they have been putting quality first to ensure return customers, including some of the largest automotive manufacturers. They create and supply connectors, switches, rain sensors and were the first to create the dimmed headlight, automatic mono camera-based emergency braking system and directional indicators which can be seen in vehicles all around the world.
Automatic Gate Barnsley
The Automotive Component Manufacturer were not happy with their existing Automatic Gates as they kept malfunctioning, they had experience of the ones we fitted opposite and knew how reliable they were and so asked if we could do the same but on their site. Although the problem on the gate was fixable, they wanted a more permanent fixture by replacing all of it.
Automatic Gate replacement
We went to look at their existing Automatic Gate, they wanted to use the same RAL Green colour and a similar style, we were more than happy to do this and we suggested adding more protection by adding 358 prison mesh infill and anti-climb spikes with the installation of a 2.4m high Automatic business sliding security Gate to suit an 8m wide opening. They were so happy with their other Automatic Gate that they just wanted their gate up and running to the same standard as quickly as possible, so after confirming our quote we went out to install their new entry and exit gates so their site was secure and fully operational. Whilst there, we performed training with some of the employees so they were aware of how to manually override the gate, how to use the gate and how to programme in fobs.
Goldthorpe
Goldthorpe is a village in Barnsley in South Yorkshire, it was a small medieval farming village. The area is now commonly referred to as the Dearne Valley, the A635 runs near Goldthorpe town centre where they have a market on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Barnsley is located halfway between Leeds and Sheffield, it had a long tradition of glass making and was known as a coal mining area but the closure of the mines in the late 1980s has led to the village becoming a deprived economic area.
