TI Security firmly believes in making a commitment to ethical activities; in order to make a positive contribution to our local and international community. Many elements that fall under corporate and social responsibility may not be actual legal requirements; but from a moral standpoint, we feel that it’s just as important as meeting safety and other essential service standards.
We’re constantly looking for ways in which we can reduce our impact on the environment; investing in newer technologies and reviewing internal policies so that we can help to provide a better future for the next generation.
CSR Green credentials
Here are a few of the recent changes we’ve made to company equipment and policies in order to support the environment:
- Installation of solar panels at our premises in Leeds
- Replacement of old fleet vehicles with hybrid Lexus CT200 to reduce our carbon emissions
- Replacement of old lighting with LED alternatives to conserve power and reduce our carbon footprint
- Recycling of batteries and circuit boards in accordance with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment recycling (WEEE) regulations 2013 – we recycle over 1,000 batteries every year.
